Built to Survive Real-World Printing

A logo is not a brand, but it is the part everyone sees first. We design identity systems that hold together across everything a Ugandan business actually uses: the shopfront sign, the delivery bike, the WhatsApp display picture, the invoice, the packaging and the billboard on Jinja Road.

Design that only works in one place is not finished. We test every identity at the sizes it will really appear, from a favicon barely sixteen pixels wide to a printed banner several metres across.

Local printing is not always forgiving. Colours shift, cheap stock absorbs ink, and a design that looked crisp on screen can turn muddy on a vinyl banner. We supply print-ready files with proper bleed, CMYK conversions and a single-colour version that still reads when a printer can only manage one pass.

You also receive vector source files. That means your sign writer, your packaging supplier and your next designer can all scale the artwork without it degrading, and you never have to pay someone to redraw your own logo.

Our Design Process

We begin with questions rather than sketches. Who are your customers, what do your competitors look like, where will this identity physically appear, and what does the business want to be understood as. Design decisions made without those answers are just decoration.

From there we present three distinct directions. Not three colourways of one idea, three genuinely different approaches, so the choice you make is a real one. Once you pick a direction we refine it through two rounds of revisions.

Delivery is a complete file package: vector sources, print-ready CMYK, screen-optimised RGB, transparent backgrounds, and a single-colour version for stamps, embroidery and low-cost printing. Plus a short brand guide covering colour codes, fonts and spacing.

Designing for Ugandan Print Realities

We design knowing where the artwork will end up. Signage in Kampala weathers hard under direct sun, so we avoid colour combinations that fade into each other. Vinyl and banner printing loses fine detail, so identities that depend on hairline strokes fail in production.

We also supply files sized for the things Ugandan businesses genuinely use: delivery bike panels, shop awnings, branded uniforms, WhatsApp display pictures and receipt headers. These are rarely on a standard brand-guide checklist but they are where your logo is seen most.

Other Services We Offer

Most clients combine two or three of these. If you are not sure where to start, talk to us and we will tell you honestly what will move the needle first.
